Royston
CEO

With over 18 years of hands-on experience in product development, engineering, and manufacturing, Royston Kent co-founded B&C Plastics. The company has since established itself as a trusted manufacturer, creating commercial plastic products for notable brands like Virgin Australia, Telstra, Lendlease, and Jetstar. B&C Plastics focuses on providing sustainable solutions and leveraging advanced technologies such as CNC machining and a patented recycling process.

Under Royston's leadership, B&C Plastics has experienced significant growth, including a 40% increase during the COVID-19 pandemic, with further expansion projected. His vision and determination have been pivotal in the company's success, particularly in enhancing Australia's sovereign capabilities in the medical and defense sectors.

Royston has also been recognized for his contributions to the business community, being named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019 by the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Brisbane chapter. He values the importance of team culture, continuous learning, and the willingness to embrace vulnerability as key aspects of effective leadership​

Wendy Kent, Co-Owner of B&C Plastics, has been a pivotal force in the company's success over the past 18 years, working alongside her husband Royston Kent. She has played a crucial role in design, engineering, product development, and plastic injection molding.

Wendy's leadership in a traditionally male-dominated industry has been transformative. Her dedication to sustainability and innovation has set new standards for excellence and environmental responsibility at B&C Plastics. This commitment has earned the company multiple accolades, including Manufacturer of the Year, Business of the Year, and Most Innovative Business of the Year.

Known for her exceptional customer service and sustainable solutions, Wendy's resilience and determination inspire others. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor adventures such as jet-skiing, caravanning, camping, and 4x4 driving, reflecting her fearless and bold approach to business.
