Creating a High Quality Medical Workstation

AMSL - Point of Care (POC) division, based in Australia, specialises in the distribution of Nova Biomedical StatStrip Meters to aid the diagnosis of medical conditions, while patients are being treated in hospital. With StatStrip meters, blood tests are performed rapidly at the bedside using small, fingerprick blood samples to analyse for glucose, ketones, creatinine, lactate, haemoglobin or haematocrit levels. The StatStrip meters have become an important diagnostic tool in major Hospitals today.
THE BRIEF
It has been a privilege to team up with B&C Plastics to design, customise and manufacture a high quality, medical grade workstation to store this specialised equipment throughout Australian Hospitals. B&C Plastics were able to produce and supply the workstations to the exact specifications, with the result, surpassing our expectations. Our customers have been impressed with the quality workmanship and attention to detail. AMSL would welcome the opportunity to work with B&C Plastics on future projects. B&C Plastics have proven themselves leading class and the best in their industry by far.
THE PROCESS
B&C Plastics enjoyed working with AMSL on the Injection Moulded Medical Box project. Not only did we design, build the tools and manufacture all of the components required, we also fully assembled the boxes including sticker placement and packaging. We are proud to have created this fit for purpose product and welcome injection moulding work within the medical industry.
