Sharing Our Sustainability Journey at Business Connect with BCQ

A Night of Connection and Conversation

On Thursday night, we had the honour of speaking at Business Chamber Queensland’s August Business Connect Networking Event at The Foyer, 300 Queen Street. Royston Kent and Wendy Kent were interviewed by Cara Westerman, GM of Business Sustainability at BCQ, in a thoughtful discussion about B&C’s journey over the last five years.

Reflecting on Growth and Change

The conversation spotlighted how B&C Plastics has evolved, especially in how we’ve integrated sustainability, innovation, and circular economy principles across our operations. It was incredibly rewarding to see genuine interest from the audience and to network afterward with such a diverse and inspiring group of business owners and representatives.

EcoBiz: A Free Program Driving Real Change

A huge thank you to Business Chamber Queensland for their continued support — especially through the EcoBiz program. This free service has played a key role in helping us reduce costs in waste and energy while building a more sustainable business model. If you haven’t already, we highly recommend joining. There’s always something new to learn, and their support makes a tangible difference.
