Inside Advanced Manufacturing 2023: Showcasing the Future of Sustainable Manufacturing

As part of Inside Advanced Manufacturing 2023, B&C Plastics proudly hosted a series of in-depth facility tours, opening our doors to fellow manufacturers and industry experts from across Queensland. It was a privilege to be recognised as one of Queensland’s leading manufacturers and to share the innovative practices that define our operations.

A Tour Through Innovation and Sustainability

Our visitors were guided through our manufacturing hub, where they gained firsthand insights into our cutting-edge processes across recycling, design, and manufacturing. The highlight of the tour was our circular design framework—a fully customisable system that tracks and manages a product’s entire life cycle, from initial concept through to responsible end-of-life disposal.

By designing with circularity in mind, we’re able to deliver products that are not only high in quality and function but also aligned with long-term environmental sustainability.

Leading with Purpose and Technology

Our approach combines advanced technology, life-cycle thinking, and design innovation to drive continuous improvement and accommodate future demand. This includes:

  • Expert life-cycle assessments

  • Integration of sustainable materials

  • End-of-life product design considerations

  • Ongoing investment in automation and digital manufacturing tools

Inspiring the Industry

The tour also offered a chance for our guests to explore how B&C Plastics is leading in sustainable injection moulding practices and how our vision for a greener manufacturing future is being realised in real time. Through open discussions and demonstrations, we sparked valuable conversations around responsible production, innovation, and the importance of collaboration within the sector.

Looking Ahead

We're incredibly proud to have participated in this meaningful initiative and to contribute to the broader conversation around advanced, sustainable manufacturing in Australia. At B&C Plastics, we’re not just producing parts — we’re engineering a better future for the planet and for industry.

Thank you to all who joined us — we look forward to continuing to share, learn, and lead.
