Building a Forever Business
Last week, Royston Kent and Wendy Kent had the privilege of stepping into the Forever Business Program at Bond University with EO Queensland – Entrepreneurs' Organization Queensland.
Across five powerful days with Professor Justin Craig, Ph.D., joined by 28 entrepreneurs from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond — it was nothing short of life-changing.
To experience this together as both business partners and life partners was truly special, leaving them energised and inspired for the next chapter of their journey.
This program gave them the gift of clarity.
Key takeaways that will stay with them:
Trust. Trust in people, trust in the process. Without trust, you have nothing.
We > I. Stewards see the business as an extension of themselves — a collective culture. Every business needs stewards.
Business is a science. Theories are lenses that make sense of the mess.
Legacy. Continuity keeps the story alive — honouring the past, empowering the next generation.
Innovation. An entrepreneurial culture thrives when creativity and ideas flow through the whole team.
And so much more…
A heartfelt thank you to Professor Justin Craig, Ph.D., and to Carlo G. Santoro, Nick Bloor, EO Queensland, and every participant who shared their stories and wisdom.
A special mention to the incredible admin team — Jodie Siggers, Heidi Merchant, and Delaine Tia. Your organisation and support behind the scenes made everything possible.
Wendy and Royston walked in as business owners on Sunday and walked out on Thursday as “Scientists of Business” — with a clearer lens, deeper purpose, and a commitment to building a company that not only grows but lasts for generations.
Here’s to a sustainable Forever Business, built on trust, innovation, stewardship, and stories.
