Women in Manufacturing: Connection, Stories and a New Opportunity

Wendy Kent and Megan Hibbert from B&C Plastics attended the Logan Women in Manufacturing breakfast at the Logan Entertainment Centre, organised by Manufacturing Queensland (NRMMRRD). The event brought together women from across Logan's manufacturing industry to share experiences, insights and stories from their careers.

The morning featured a panel of women leaders who spoke about what they've learned, the challenges they've faced and the successes they've had. Their stories showed why innovation, diversity and opportunities for women matter in manufacturing.

A conversation that led somewhere

One of the best moments of the morning came from simply sitting down for a chat. A connection made at the table led to an interview at B&C Plastics shortly after, and potentially a new role. You never know what can happen when women in the industry come together, start talking and support each other.
