SUNDOGZ™ was born from the vision of J.K. Johnson, who set out to revolutionise outdoor experiences for dogs and their owners. Frustrated by the lack of suitable beach shelters for dogs, the idea quickly evolved into a versatile and portable solution that prioritises comfort, safety, and practicality.

What began as a personal challenge grew into a collaborative innovation—resulting in SUNDOGZ™, a purpose-built shelter designed to adapt to various outdoor terrains, meeting the needs of both pets and their people.

The B&C Plastics team is proud to have partnered with the SUNDOGZ™ team from the initial design stage through to product prototyping, testing, and machine tooling.

The final product is manufactured using marine-grade, UV-stabilised composite plastics, ensuring the strength and durability needed for outdoor use—while meeting both the form and function set out in the original design brief.
