Circular Collaboration for the 2032 Games

Group at the BCQ event

Last week, Wendy Kent and Megan Hibbert had the privilege of attending an inspiring presentation by Prof. Dr. Jacqueline Cramer at Business Chamber Queensland. The focus? Driving collaboration, commercially viable solutions, and circular outcomes for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The message was clear: the opportunities for local businesses to contribute will be enormous. Over the next seven years, there’s a unique chance to showcase Australian innovation, capability, and sustainability on the world stage.

Prof. Cramer’s keynote and roundtable also explored how collaborative networks can unlock economic value and productivity growth in Queensland, highlighting:

♻️ Circular economy as a productivity enabler
♻️ Sustainability maturity as a driver of competitiveness
♻️ The role of SMEs, industry, and policy in scaling impact
♻️ Partnerships that create shared value and opportunity

A big thank you to Business Chamber Queensland (and Cara Westerman) for the invitation. We’re excited about what lies ahead — and ready to play our part in building a circular, inclusive future.
