Leading Ladies on the Factory Floor
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mayoress of Logan, Ali Raven, and Chloe Evans of the City of Logan Charitable Trust to B&C Plastics.
Through the Trust, Ali champions grassroots initiatives that uplift youth, support families, and strengthen the Logan community — and it was inspiring to share our story with such passionate changemakers.
Guided by Wendy Kent and Megan Hibbert, they toured our factory to see injection moulding in action — from raw materials to finished products. Our range of recycled flat edge buckets, paint accessories, and plant pots caught their eye as proof that plastic waste can be reshaped into something beautiful, functional, and locally made.
Moments like these matter. Manufacturing has long been male-dominated, but visits like this highlight a different future: diverse, inclusive, and full of opportunity.
Thank you Ali and Chloe for your enthusiasm, support, and belief in the power of local, sustainable manufacturing.
At B&C Plastics, sustainability is part of our DNA — but so is precision engineering and innovation. From construction and transport to healthcare and consumer products, we’re proud to design, engineer, and manufacture solutions that deliver performance, quality, and impact.
