Exploring New Opportunities at the Melbourne Toy Fair

At the toy fair

Last week, members of our team—Royston Kent, Megan Hibbert, and Wendy Kent—attended the Australian Toy, Hobby and Licensing Fair in Melbourne, presenting ideas and exploring new opportunities for the future of B & C Plastics.

The event provided an exciting platform to connect with innovators, creators, licensors, and manufacturers from across the industry. Over several days, our team had the opportunity to pitch concepts and engage in valuable conversations around potential new directions—both within B & C Plastics and across the broader B & C Group.

While it’s still early stages and we can’t share too much detail just yet, we’re incredibly encouraged by the response and the quality of discussions that took place. The feedback has reinforced the potential of what we are looking to develop over the coming months.

For more than 40 years, B & C Plastics has remained focused on Australian manufacturing, delivering high-quality plastic components with consistency and reliability. That commitment remains unchanged—business will continue as usual. At the same time, we are actively exploring how our experience, capability, and manufacturing expertise can evolve into new licensed product categories.

This next phase represents an exciting opportunity to expand into new markets while building on the strong foundation we’ve established over decades.

We’d also like to thank the organisers of the Toy Fair for delivering a fantastic event that brings together so many forward-thinking businesses and industry leaders in one place.

It’s early days, but the next stage is already underway—and we’re excited to see where it leads.

Watch this space.
