Women Leading Change in Local Manufacturing
Women Leading Local Manufacturing and Sustainability
Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Councillor Miriam Stemp, Chair of the City Planning, Economic Development and Environment Committee for the City of Logan, for an exclusive tour of our factory—and what a powerful and inspiring visit it was.
Walking the Factory Floor
Miriam was joined by our very own Wendy Kent and Megan Hibbert as we walked through the entire product journey—from concept and prototyping to full-scale manufacturing. We showcased how Australian-made ideas come to life, right here in Logan, using innovative, sustainable manufacturing practices.
A Shared Commitment to Circularity
The conversation focused on real-world problem-solving, local capability, and circular economy thinking. It’s about more than just making products—it’s about reducing waste, closing the loop, and creating long-term impact. Together, we discussed the role of local government, industry partnerships, and what’s possible when vision meets action.
Women Leading With Purpose
This visit was a celebration of female leadership in manufacturing and sustainability. We’re proud to be part of a growing movement where women are not only participating but leading, creating smarter, cleaner futures and championing Australian industry.
