UQ Engineering Students Visit B&C Plastics
On Tuesday, we had the wonderful opportunity to host a group of third-year Chemical Engineering Students from School of Chemical Engineering UQ for an insightful presentation from our CEO Royston Kent and Industrial Designer Chiara Bortoli followed by an educational tour around B&C Plastics to see where our designs come to life and products are manufactured.
Speeding Up Prototyping with the Bambu Lab P1S
We recently welcomed the Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer into our fold, and the journey since has been nothing short of extraordinary. Not only has this tool dramatically increased the speed and quality of our prototypes (an important stage of all Tooling/Moulding Projects), but it has also become a source of inspiration for our designers. Making changes to designs can be done quickly and efficiently, not to mention the testing process and viability of the design.

A Remote Mission with a Global Message: Beach Cleanup at Pennefather Beach
Wendy and Royston Kent had an incredible experience with the Tangaroa Blue Foundation, traveling to Weipa and Pennefather Beach for a vital Beach Cleanup mission. The sight that greeted them was both awe-inspiring and heartbreaking: thousands of discarded items, from thongs to plastic and oil bottles, littered this otherwise pristine and remote beach.
